District 7 Coast Guard Base is located in Miami, Florida. It is where District 7 headquarters is located. Francis E Warren AFB was initially built in 1867 as Fort Russell and became an air force base in 1947.

Fort McCoy is a massive base covering about 60,000 acres of land between Sparta and Tomah, Wisconsin, in Monroe County. Fort McCoy was created by the amalgamation of Camp Emory Upton and Camp Robinson in 1926, and since then, this post has been used as a training center by the Wisconsin State Patrol and the military.

Naval Air Station Whidbey is located near Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island in Island County, Washington. It was built in 1942 and had two sections- the central portion 3 miles north from Oak Harbor and the other section called the Seaplane Base.
Around the Northeastern end of the Waterfront in the city of Everett, Washington, 25 miles north of Seattle, is Naval Station Everett. It was initially created as a homeport for the US Navy Carrier strike group. It was built in 1987 and opened in 1994—this base houses about 6,000 sailors and civil service persons.
