Naval Support Activity Saratoga Springs (NSA Saratoga Springs) is a base of the United States Navy located in Saratoga County in Upstate New York. Onbase housing is managed by Balfour Beatty Communities and is available to all active duty service members. Accommodation consists of 50-two-bedroom townhouses and 50-three-bedroom townhouses; there is an additional 100 two-bedroom apartments. The two-bedroom apartments are located on Quiet Harbor Road, where each building contains four flats. Off base, housing can be found in Downtown Saratoga, Ballston Spa, or Hawthorne Blvd.
This area boasts an excellent education system with many public, religious private, and non-denominational private schools, e.g., Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs, St Clements Regional Catholic School, and Shenendehowa High School. Districts in this area include Ballston Spa Central Schools, Burnt Hills, Galway Central Schools, Hadley-Luzerne Central Schools, Mechanicville City Schools, and many others, offering families a more comprehensive bunch to select from.
