Vessel Document Center is one of the military installations owned by the United States Coast Guard. It is located in Falling Waters, on the western side of Virginia. It is responsible for maritime commerce and deals with the bureaucratic work in the United States Coast Guard. However, it can provide defensive military support in times of war or any other crucial time. Falling Waters is a census-designated place in West Virginia situated along Williamsport Pike north of Martinsburg. It gets its name because of the flowing stream close to the Potomac.

Apart from the barracks, there is no organized military housing inside the Vessel Document Center. But do not fret; there are base-approved areas to stay, such as Morgantown, Huntington, Charleston, and Martinsburg. Other top neighborhoods off base are Riverside, Whispering Falls, River Hills, Marlowe, Nipetown, and Spring Mills.

Since there are no schools on Vessel Document Center, you would have to put your ward in any public or private schools around the base. Marlowe Elementary School, Potomac Intermediate School, Spring Mills High, Spring Mills Middle, and Leap of Faith Learning Center are just a few of the good schools close by that can serve you.
