USCG Juneau is a US Coast Guard base in the city of Juneau, Alaska. It houses about 250 military personnel, and it mainly involves research operations. The base is located in an urbanized area, close to the downtown area of the city, making it quite convenient for service members to enjoy the amenities and facilities the city has to offer. As the capital city of the state of Alaska, Juneau is an important administrative center of the state. It is also the third-most populous city in the state, with a population of about 32,000 people.
