The Training Center Corry is a training base and sub-installation of Naval Air Station Pensacola located in Escambia County, Florida, US. Escambia County, Florida, is the westernmost and oldest in the region located in the state’s northwestern corner. Training Center Cory supports and strongly collaborates with the Department of Defense. The county is home to over 321,900 people, with its county seat and largest city being Pensacola. Privatized military housing isn’t available directly at Corry station but you’ll find at the NAS Pensacola where on base housing options include Corry Village, Andrew Jackson Court, Barrancas, Cabaniss Cresecent, Billingsley, North Avenue, Lighthouse Terrace, and Old Hospital. If you’d prefer to stay off base, neighborhoods nearby include Old Hickory, Aragon, East Hill, Manchester, East Pensacola Heights, Chevalier, and Tarkiln Ridge Estat; all of which are less than 10 miles of the base.

There are no DoD schools in Training Center Corry, but the region has many public, charter, and magnet schools only a few miles apart. Public schools in the region are administered by the Escambia County School District, with fifty-one schools altogether. The district currently administers thirty-five elementary schools, nine middle schools and seven high schools, with other specialized centers. Elementary school your children can attend are, Navy Point Elementary or Blue Angel Elementary. Middle school they can attend Warrington or Bailey middle schools, while high school students can go to Escambia high school. The Pensacola State College and the University of West Florida are two prominent colleges in the county.
