Station Point Judith was constructed in 1876 on Point Judith, around Point Judith Light, one and a half-mile of Point Judith Harbor of Refuge. It is a coast guard station in Narragansett, Rhode Island was opened for service in 1876 and was rebuilt in 1888-1889. Station Point Judith does search and rescue missions, maintenance of lighthouses, buoys, and other equipment. This station is responsible for more than 68 miles of the coastal area and Block Island.


Narragansett is situated in Washington County in Rhode Island and is a great summer location. Its size more than doubles in the summer months. There is no on-base housing for Station Point Judith, but the environment has a lot of seaside neighborhoods that are perfect for staying. There are places such as Galilee, Narragansett Pier, Point Judith, Bonnet Shores, Great Island, Wakefield, Jamestown, and Jerusalem.
