NAS Lemoore is a military base under the jurisdiction of the US Navy. It is one of the newest and largest airbases with jet fighters, and it is the home port of Strike Fighter Wing Pacific, along with its associated wings. The base has been in operation since 1961, and it houses Lemoore Station within its border. The city nearest to the base is Lemoore, California. A small city with idyllic surroundings, Lemoore is a great place to live, especially for families with children.
