NAS (Naval Air Station) Jacksonville, is a huge naval air station situated approximately 13 kilometers south of Jacksonville, Florida, United States. NAS, Jacksonville is a military airport that’s only 6km from the Jacksonville business district and it trains some of the best pilots in the world. It is located in Duval County within Jacksonville’s city limits. The NAS base sits on a piece of land between the Ortega River which is historically called Black Point and St. Johns River. NAS is part of the overall Jacksonville Naval Complex hosting a small ghost town called Yukon.

NAS Jacksonville has over ten thousand active servicemen; it is the largest Navy base in the Southeast region and third largest in the US.
