Located in the state of California, Mountain Training Center is a training base owned and managed by the US Marine Corps. The base has been operational since as early as 1951, and its main function is to provide a compartmented training environment where there is a lot to expect. Mountain Training Center does not have schools under the supervision of the Department of Defense. That said, there are still plenty of local public schools that children of service members can attend. These schools are put under the management of the Eastern Sierra Unified School District.
