MCAS Yuma, otherwise known as Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, is an air station belonging to the United States Marine Corps. The base is located close to the city of Yuma, Arizona, and it hosts many squadrons belonging to different air wings such as 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron 1, and Marine Fighter Training Squadron 401. Yuma, the city located the closest to the base, is a major city in the state of Arizona. Yuma is the agricultural powerhouse of the state, providing over 175 types of crops.

Yuma’s local real estate market can be quite busy, with plenty of choices for everyone. For the most popular local neighborhoods, check out W 16th St / S Ave D, E Frontage Rd / I 8 E, and S 4th Ave / E County Rd 14.

You will not find any school managed by the Department of Defense. However, there are many local public schools that your children can attend, including the ones managed by the Yuma Union High School District.

Yuma is not as large as other major cities in Arizona such as Phoenix or Tucson, but it does come with plenty of things to do if you live in the area. Notable options are exploring the Imperial National Wildlife Refuge and visiting Castle Dome Mine Museum & Ghost Town.
