ISC Alameda is a large military base that is run by the US Coast Guard. It is located on an artificial island in the city of Alameda, and its main role is to provide support for all of the Coast Guard’s operations in the west coast region of the US. The base features a vast range of amenities such as health care services and on-site housing units. The city of Alameda, CA, which surrounds the base, is a charter law city.

ISC Alameda does not feature any school under the direct management of the Department of Defense.
