You won’t lack things to do in the Fort Barfoot area, but you may need to commit to a bit of driving for the most popular destinations. Just under three hours away, Washington D.C. has no small amount of interesting provision for lovers of sports, history, space exploration, and science. Those who love history should visit the Petersburg National Battlefield, the Edgar Allen Poe museum, and the Smithsonian in nearby Washington D.C. Pocahontas State Park and Point Of Rocks Park are also suitable outdoor attractions, and plenty of fun could be had at The King’s Dominion amusement park.
