Detroit Arsenal has Child Development Centers located on the base and offers child care to military families daily. It has no elementary or secondary schools on post. School-aged children living on base will attend the Warren Consolidated Schools, the outlying Anchor Bay School District or L’Anse Creuse Public Schools, where there are also several private schools.
At Detroit Arsenal, you’ll experience the well-known freezing winters that Michigan has been known for as well as the summers that warm up to pleasant temperatures around 87 Fahrenheit.
