Camp Stanley (not Camp Stanley that was located in South Korea) is located at the Leon Springs Military Reservation, now Camp Bullis. Originally an infantry cantonment called Camp Funston (not to be confused with Camp Funston in Kansas), the installation was renamed Camp Stanley in 1917. Formerly run as a facility attached to the Red River Army Depot, it is now operated as a part of Camp Bullis. This facility operates the Camp Stanley Storage Activity (CSSA), an ammunitions sub-post of the San Antonio Arsenal. The primary mission of the CSSA is receipt, storage, issuance of ordinances, and quality assurance testing of military weapons and ammunition. The secondary mission of Camp Stanley is weapons training and weapons qualification.
