The Warrenton Training Center (WTC) is a classified United States government communication complex that was established in 1951 and is administered by the United States Army. The WTC is comprised of four stations that are located in Fauquier and Culpepper counties in Virginia. The WTC serves as a as a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) signals intelligence facility, numbers station, communications laboratory. Additionally, the WTC has a communications and signals intelligence training school for various federal departments and agencies, including the CIA, National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Defense and Department of State, and serves as a relay facility for the Department of State’s Diplomatic Telecommunications Service.
