The Tooele Army Depot is a Joint Munitions Command for the United States Army. Located in Tooele County, Utah. Originally called the Tooele Ordinance Depot, this installation was built in 1942 and was used for war supplies. This post currently serves as a storage facility for war reserve and training ammunition. This facility also serves as the National Inventory Control Point for ammunition peculiar equipment.

Tooele, Utah is a city in Tooele County is located in the west desert region of Utah, where the Great Salt Desert is found. The city serves as the county seat of Tooele County and is located less than an hour from Salt Lake City, Utah. In addition to being known as the home of Tooele Army Depot, this city is also known for its views of the nearby Oquirrh Mountains and the Great Salt Lake.
