The Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) is a part of the military’s largest medical educational and treatment facility and teaching hospital. Located on Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, the Medical Education and Training Campus utilizes Camp Bullis for field training. The METC was established in 2010 as part of the decision made by the Base realignment and Closure Commission and was made a part of Joint Base San Antonio.
