Lackland Air Force Base is located in Bexar County, Texas, and is an enclave of the city of San Antonio. The base, under the jurisdiction of the 802nd Mission Support Group, Air Education, and Training Command, is home to the only facility for Air Force enlisted Basic Military Training (BMT). In addition to BMT, Lackland AFB hosts multiple training and support units, including the Inter-American Air Forces Academy.
