Grand Forks Airbase is north of Emerado and 16 miles west of Grand Forks in North Dakota. This base houses the 319th Reconnaissance Wing and provides educational and training services with up to 50 degree programs. The programs are not only for military personnel as some of the courses can be attended by civilians. The city of Grand Forks sits on the Minnesota border and is a trade center for the production and sale of produce like wheat, barley, corn, and beans.
