Camp Shelby is the biggest state training base in the US located at Perry and Forrest Counties with a part in Greene County, in South Mississippi. It has its North Gate situated at the southern boundary of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. There is Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Centre at this camp, which has about 136,000 acres for training and offers a wide range of support since its establishment in 1917.
