I was born in Arkansas but grew up in central Illinois (Go CUBS! ). My husband and I are from the same smallish town but met after high school when he was on home town recruit leave from the Army. We were married in 2001 and have lived in OK, GA, NC, TX and now Colorado for 5 years and love it. He had never been stationed in Colorado Springs, but we chose to move here after he retired from the Army due to all of the outdoor activities available, plus you can't beat that mountain view! Beyond marriage I have a family connection with the military as well. My grandfather was a Marine who served in the Korean war, my brother is a retired Marine, and my brother in law is retired from the Army.

Over the past 21 years of marriage we have been blessed with three amazing children. Adelyn is in elementary school, Fin is in middle school and Noelle is in college. Due to their age differences it is often like having 3 "only" children. Though they are often handfuls, being a mom is my greatest and most fulfilling accomplishment, and I wouldn't want my life any other way.

Prior to starting my career in Real Estate, I had professional experience in lending and finance in higher education. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Finance at Fayetteville State University while we were stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. In 2020 I completed my MBA with a Finance concentration online at Louisiana State University Shreveport. I often miss the active duty life, though my husband does not share that sentiment : ). I have lifelong friends all over the country thanks to his service. Being an Army wife for 15 years, going through four deployments, his 15 month unaccompanied tour in Korea, countless days of training, 100's of freefall jumps, and many PCS's, I know first hand how stressful and chaotic military life can be. It is something most people do not understand, so going into Real Estate I knew I wanted to focus on servicing the military community which will always hold a special place in my heart. I greatly look forward to helping all members of the military, veterans, and their families in the search for a home or in the sale of their current home here in Colorado.
